There are some really great resources out there for parenting. Focus on the Family has some good information but “love and logic” has a really good program. If you want to help your child form a good character, learn to make good choices and take responsibility for him or herself, this is the best that I have found. Boundaries are also important. It takes some paradigm shifting for parents sometimes to put this into action but it is worth it. The perspective is not behavior change but heartwork which brings about external changes.
